Amber Gill says she’s put on ‘a whole stone’ during the pandemic as star slams fat-shaming trolls

Amber Gill has hit out at trolls who fat-shamed her after she put on weight throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

The 23 year old, who recently said she's "pretended to be happy" on social media as she opened up on her mental health, took to her Instagram feed to share a photo of herself before speaking out about the online abuse she's received.

The snap showed the former Love Islander wearing a sleeveless black top tucked into a khaki green-coloured trousers, which she paired with matching green slip-on high-heels and a chic Louis Vuitton purse.

Amber wore a full face of make up, complete with eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara and could be seen putting one hand to her head as she looked to the side in bemusement.

In the caption, she told her 2.7million followers that she has been trolled on the social media platform TikTok after putting some weight on over this year.

She wrote: "Not me on tiktok being fat shamed?! What? First of all we are in a pandemic [sic]

"Second How do people look so closely that they notice before I even notice," followed by a laughing emoji. "I’ve been living in hoodies and sweatpants for the whole of this year and ended up putting on a whole stone!" [sic]

Amber, who recently shared her bargain £20 curl routine, went on to admit she was taken by surprise at the weight she's put on, but understands why it's happened as she "can't cook".

"I can’t lie I was shocked but I cannot cook to save my life so it was takeout breakfast lunch and dinner so I don’t know what I expected And with another lockdown potentially on the horizon it could happen again," [sic] she said with a surprised emoji.

She continued to say with sarcasm: "I’m sure the people that commented are the image of perfection so thank you for that," with a smiling emoji.

Before singing off, she reassured her followers as she said: "Whoever put on weight this year don’t worry I’m with you," followed by a smiling emoji with hearts circling it.

Celebrity friends were quick to comment as Anton Danyluk wrote: "You're beautiful," followed by a red heart emoji, to which Amber responded: "@anton_danyluk awww Anton thank you," with a red heart emoji.

Pal Yewande Biala posted two heart eyes emojis and Laura Anderson gushed: "Fit a f**k mate. Love that ‘image of perfection’ they must be," [sic] with a laughing emoji, heart eyes emoji, kissing emoji and a praying hands emoji.

Pal Belle Hassan said: "You look sexy girllll," with a praying hands emoji and a fire emoji.

While Anna Vakili added: "You look hotttt f*k them," [sic] with two fire emojis.
