Arcade Fire Perform New Song ‘Generation A’ On Colbert’s Election Special
Arcade Fire performed a new song, titled “Generation A”, on Stephen Colbert‘s election special.
The Late Show’s special episode was called, “Stephen Colbert’s Election Night 2020: Democracy’s Last Stand: Building Back America Great Again Better 2020.”
Colbert introduced the track by describing it as “inspired by the current climate of the country with a hopeful message to the youths.”
“I don’t think they understand that I am not a patient man,” Arcade Fire’s singe Win Butler croons in the new anthem.
“Generation A” is Arcade Fire’s first new music since the release of their 2017 album, Everything Now.
The band had recently announced that a new album is in the works. They also celebrated the 10th anniversary of their 2010 album The Suburbs earlier this year.
