Ariana Grande Plays Mac Miller’s Songs Ahead of Concert Date Set in His Hometown
Ariana Grande‘s tribute to her late ex-boyfriend Mac Miller during her concert stop in his hometown of Pittsburgh, Penn., will hit you right in the feels.
Ahead of hitting the stage last night (June 12), it’s reported the 25-year-old singer played several of the late rapper’s biggest hits in the venue before starting her performance.
However, during the opening number “Raindrops (An Angel Cried),” which is widely rumored to be about the end of their relationship, she got choked up while singing the song.
Ariana also didn’t sing Mac‘s lyric in “Thank u, next” which goes “Wish I could say, ‘Thank you’ to Malcolm / ‘Cause he was an angel.”
However, fans took over and sang them for her.
Ariana had another tribute to Mac on her tour just a few months ago.
