‘Bachelor’ alum Lauren Bushnell and country singer Chris Lane are engaged

Lauren Bushnell and Chris Lane are officially engaged!

The country singer posted a video on YouTube Tuesday of himself proposing to the “Bachelor” alum after he popped the question in her family’s backyard in Oregon on Sunday.

The clip first shows Lane, 34, telling Bushnell, 29, that he wants to play her a new song he was working on. The song, titled “Big, Big Plans,” begins to play while a montage plays on screen. During the video, Lane shows off the sparkling ring he used for the proposal, which features a 3.5 carat, emerald-cut diamond, according to People and E! News.

As the clip ends, Lane takes Bushnell out to the backyard, gets down on his knee and proposes.

“Baby, you’re the best thing to ever happen,” he says. “You’ve brought out a lot of things inside me that I didn’t even know existed. And I have to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?”

Bushnell cheerfully accepts, and the couple’s family and friends join in to celebrate.

The two first began dating after Bushnell and previous “Bachelor” star Ben Higgins broke off their engagement in 2017.

Bushnell quickly took to Instagram with a post of the couple kissing to share the happy news.
