Beyoncé’s Voice Featured In New ‘Lion King’ Trailer
The latest trailer for Disney’s “live-action” remake of The Lion King features the voice of Beyoncé.
Beyoncé has given her voice to Nala, while Donald Glover stars in the film as Simba, although his voice is yet to appear in any trailers.
Beyoncé took to Instagram on Sunday to post Lion King-inspired photos and a video of her daughter Blue Ivy lip-syncing to “Circle of Life.”
The latest trailer also features classic scenes from the original animated movie, like the wild-beast stampede and the fight between Scar and Simba against a burning Pride Rock.
The trailer for the remake of the 1994 Disney classic also features the voices of Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen as Timon and Pumbaa, respectively.
The movie also stars John Oliver as Zazu, the red-billed hornbill, Eric Andre as Azizi, one of the three hyenas, and James Earl Jones will reprise the role of Mufasa. Chiwetel Ejiofor plays the antagonist Scar.
The movie, directed Jon Favreau, is set to release on July 19.
