Chase Stokes and Madelyn Cline Call It Quits After a Year of Dating

Amid the split rumors, the Sarah Cameron depicter on ‘Outer Banks’ is spotted leaving a Halloween party in Bel Air together with ’13 Reasons Why’ actor, Ross Butler.

AceShowbizChase Stokes and Madelyn Cline‘s romance is over. If a new report is to be believed, the “Outer Banks” co-stars called it quits after dating for more than a year.

Revealing Chase and Madelyn’s relationship status was PEOPLE. An insider told the publication, “Madelyn and Chase are no longer together… They were trying to work things out privately but broke up a couple of months ago.” Another source, meanwhile, claimed, “They are definitely broken up.”

Breakup rumors surrounding the two first emerged in October. At that time, the 23-year-old was spotted dancing with Ross Butler from “13 Reasons Why” during a night out in Milan. However, Ross told TMZ at that time that they’re “just friends.”

Over the weekend, the new alleged couple was caught on camera leaving a Halloween party in Bel Air together. Though so, they decided to stay mum when paparazzi pressed them with questions about their possible romance.

About Madelyn and Chase, they first met while filming the first season of their hit Netflix series, “Outer Banks”. The 27-year-old actor then made their romance Instagram official in June 2020.

When confirming his romance with Madelyn, Chase shared two pictures from their beach date. One of the snaps captured their legs and half-eaten food as they lounged on a beach blanket while another saw the actress picking up a bottle of wine. “Cats outta the bag,” he captioned the post.

In November that year, the Tina depicter on “Stranger Things” opened up about being in love with the “Tell Me Your Secrets” star. “It’s really cool. Love is tight,” she gushed when speaking with Entertainment Tonight. “It’s cool to share this experience with your favorite people and also your favorite person. … I feel very happy.”

Madelyn then explained that despite being in a romantic relationship and co-stars, she and Chase had “boundaries.” She elaborated, “We go to set, we’re individuals, and we are still, at the very minimum, we are best friends and we are partners and we are screen partners, so we’re there to support each other.”
