Ellie Goulding wows as she continues to show off new brunette hair at Royal Variety

Ellie Goulding looked sensational on Thursday night as she continued to show off her newly-dyed brunette locks ahead of her performance at the Royal Variety 2022.

The singer, 35, looked elegant in a black asymmetric gown, which featured one sleeve and a cut-out feature underneath which bared her waist.

The stunning star debuted her newly-dyed glossy brown locks which fell past her shoulders as she posed up a storm on the red carpet.

She rocked a bronzed makeup palette with highlighted cheekbones and eyelids, with fluttering black lashes and a pop of pink lipstick to brighten up the look.

The singer is set to put on a no-doubt stellar performance on stage at tonight's Royal Variety Performance, which is being held at London's Royal Albert Hall.

The event's Royal guests of the night were the late Queen's youngest son, Prince Edward, and his wife, Sophie, Countess of Wessex.

Prince Edward, 58, looked smart in a black tuxedo suit, whilst 57 year old Sophie – who was known to share a close bond with the late Queen – looked stunning in a silver floor-length gown.

The Royal Variety Performance happens every year, but this is the first since the death of Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away on 8 September, and it will pay a special tribute to her, as Andrew Lloyd Webber, Gary Barlow and Gareth Malone are set to perform a special version of Sing accompanied by members of the London Youth Choir.

The show will be held in London's Royal Albert Hall and hosted by multi award-winning comedian and actor Lee Mack.

Lee said of his hosting gig: “I was going to buy tickets for this year’s Royal Variety Performance, so not only is it a real honour to be asked to host it but it’s also saved me a few quid.

"I now just have to work out the logistics of introducing these brilliant acts and also rushing back to my seat to watch them.”

The Royal Variety Performance will see a number of singers and performers take to the stage, including Andrew Lloyd-Webber, Ellie and Omid Djalili.

Other massive signings include Disco Soul R&B sensations Nile Rodgers & Chic, Brit Award winner George Ezra, Eurovision star and singer Sam Ryder, and powerhouse pop star Becky Hill.

There will also be performances from the cast of the musical Cabaret, who will take to the stage with an exclusive performance, and Britain's Got Talent winner, comedian Axel Blake, will deliver a stand-up routine.

Disney’s Newsies will also perform a sensational extract from their Tony award-winning musical, which opens in London later this month.
