Emily Andre’s ‘beautiful’ gesture for husband Pete as the couple celebrate marriage

Peter Andre whisked his wife Emily and children – Princess, Junior, Amelia and Theo – on a skiing holiday over the half term break to a stunning ski resort in Bulgaria.

But his family weren't the only ones being spoilt on the trip away. Pete, 48, told us that on Valentine's Day his wife Emily – who previously said her husband was asked for selfies while she was giving birth – treated him to a very cute surprise. Here, our columnist also says he would happily return to beautiful Bulgaria plus why he just can't keep up with the Kim Kardashian and Kanye West drama.

Sloping Off For Family Fun

We had a brilliant time skiing for half term. We stayed at a resort called Borovets, in Bulgaria, and it was unexpectedly incredible! I say unexpectedly because we were supposed to go to France, but it was a bit of a nightmare with all the requirements.

As of recently, if you’re 16 and over you have to be double vaccinated to visit France, but Junior was only single vaccinated and, at the time, he was not eligible for his second.

Things happen for a reason, though, because we absolutely loved it in Bulgaria and would definitely go back. We did everything from skiing and snowmobiling to horse riding in the snow, which the girls really loved. All the kids had the time of their lives.

Princess and Junior were also flying around on their skis – they’re really good at skiing now. Theo has been getting lessons and absolutely loving it.

When we went skiing last time, Theo would do an hour and have a meltdown, but now you can’t get him off the slopes!

It was also Valentine’s Day while we were away and, although we had all the children, we still managed to thoroughly enjoy it.

Valentine’s for us is all about time together, we got each other a few little bits but the most special for me was the card Emily got me.

As part of this beautiful card, was hidden 12 things you love about your partner and she hid each one in different locations, and I had to find them.

It was very sweet, although I thought it would have been easier for her to find 12 things she didn’t like! Over time, we’ve both realised that Valentine’s Day is just as special when you share it with your family.

Can’t Keep Up With The Kimye Drama

A lot of people have been talking about the drama between Kim Kardashian and her estranged husband Kanye West. It feels impossible to keep up with who is saying what at the moment and, understandably, many are saying that Kanye is a bit all over the place.

One thing I did notice, though, is that he was definitely the most Covid-safe person at the Super Bowl with that full facemask! Talking about the Super Bowl, let’s not forget the incredible half-time performance from Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J Blige, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar.

That was definitely one of the best half-time performances ever. There have been some greats, including some of the best-ever performances by Janet and Michael Jackson, but these guys took it to an amazing level.

My Views on the News

Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva was allowed to compete in the Winter Olympics despite getting a positive drug test. However, it was decided that she wouldn’t be awarded a medal even if she finished in the top three.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport said that she was a “protected person” so not letting her compete could cause her “irreparable harm”.

Kamilla came fourth but surely for her to be in the competition and unable to win a medal is also psychologically damaging. I’m not sure either make sense.
