Fiona Apple Delivers First Live Performance Of ‘Fetch The Bolt Cutters’ Songs
During her appearance at The New Yorker‘s virtual festival on Saturday night (October 10), Fiona Apple performed songs from her album, Fetch The Bolt Cutters, live for the fist time.
Apple played three songs, “I Want You to Love Me,” “Shameika” and “Fetch the Bolt Cutters” from the album during the brief 11-minute set, with a full band backing her up.
Apple released Fetch The Bolt Cutters, her first new release in eight years, in April.
The singer-songwriter and pianist very rarely gives live performances. In fact, she has given just a handful of live performance in recent years.
Apple performed live at a 2019 tribute concert for Chris Cornell in Los Angeles and a couple of years earlier, played at the Trans-Pecos Festival in Texas, with St. Vincent joining her as a special guest.
Apple also gave a virtual interview to New Yorker writer Emily Nussbaum, who wrote a great profile about her when the album came out earlier this year.
