Jeremy Clarkson’s daughter Emily shares candid pics of recovery after second jaw surgery
Jeremy Clarkson’s daughter Emily has shared pictures of her jaw surgery recovery process after going under the knife for a second time yesterday, 15 February.
Emily suffered two slipped discs in her jaw last year, sparking the 27 year old to have to have surgery to fix it.
Several months on, the Grand Tour star’s daughter has had some of the screws and plates that were put into her jaw removed, meaning Emily has another gruelling recovery process to go through.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday 16 February, Emily shared a series of snaps which documented her journey.
In one photo, Emily could be seen propped up in bed while wearing a cushioned jaw support, while another showed her with a mouth full of tissue and a cold compress pressed onto her cheek.
She wrote alongside the photos: “Gorgeous gorgeous girls get their surgeries DONE!! So yesterday I had six of the screws and two of the plates that were holding my jaw together after it was broken last year removed and a bone graft done- I also had my brows done and eyelashes curled and tinted (different procedures at different places) and the effect today is stunning lol. Hahahha.”

Emily continued: “Recovery is wayyyy better than last time praise be BUT – it’s not great (read: I underestimated it, again)- I’m in a bunch of pain today (I’m also on a bunch of painkillers) and am stuck very still in bed cos those pesky nose bleeds are back. swelling isn’t too bad- look like I’ve had a right hook to the eye and a sh*t lip job and the bleeding gums are a bit sinister but we move."
"Also half my face is stuck so LOL that my right eye won’t close and that stupid melted smile hahaha. Got nurses Alex and Bua here and this is way better than last week’s covid cos I can have visitors (friends pls visit)! Liquid diet for now cos you know I’m so good at it.”
The podcast host continued to say that she’s “so relieved it's over”, and that her surgeon is reasonably confident that they’ve found and fixed everything that was causing her pain.
“The procedure was horrible I actually won’t lie about that but it’s done and every day is a day closer to getting my life back and honestly BRING IT B*TCHES. Buckle up. Cos there’s something about jaw surgery recovery that really sees my content level up lol,” Emily went on.
She added that she doesn’t recommend people undergoing the same surgeries as her.
