Lorraine Kelly, 61, has received a warning from one of her fans after she gave an insight into some personal information online today. The ITV presenter, who fronts her self-titled show, took to the social media platform to answer a question from a journalist about her first car.
However, the nature of the query prompted one of Lorraine’s 644,000 followers to warn her about sharing details that could potentially pose a “security” risk.
It comes after the journalist quizzed the star: “@reallorraine strange question Lorraine.
“What was your first car please? would love to know.”
Lorraine promptly replied: “I didn’t own a car until I was 32 and it was a wee A class Mercedes that was bright turquoise – loved it.”
Although the reporter’s question was perfectly innocent, one fan expressed their concerns, replying: “Sounds a bit like a security question to me… I’d be careful!”
The Scottish presenter spotted the fan’s suggestion and simply responded with a flushed face emoji, which usually indicates embarrassment, disbelief, or shyness.
Fortunately, Lorraine took the fan’s worries in good humour and she didn’t seem too concerned as she responded to another Twitter user’s joke on the matter.
They cheekily penned: “Lorraine can you take a pic of ur bank card for us?
“Want to see how it compares to mine.”
Giggling at the remark, Lorraine replied with two crying with laughter emojis and red love hearts.
It comes after the host responded to another worried fan who tuned into her ITV show on Friday.
The viewer wrote to Lorraine after the presenter introduced fans to her daughter Rosie’s adorable new sausage dog puppy, Ruby, on air.

Lorraine proudly displayed her “grandpuppy” as she cuddled Ruby in her arms, who was wearing a knitted coat.
The host gushed: “She’s teeny tiny.
“She’s meeting our other dog, Angus, next week. She’s gorgeous!”
However, following the puppy’s debut, some viewers expressed their concern that Ruby could have overheated under the studio lights in her jumper.
One Twitter user told Lorraine: “@reallorraine coat to hot for dog in studio.”(sic)
Fortunately, Lorraine was quick to reassure the viewer, as she insisted the ITV studios are always kept “very, very cool”.
She wrote back: “We always keep the studio very very cool and Ruby was fine but thanks so much for your concern xxx.”
Alongside their new arrival, Lorraine and her husband Steve also own their beloved Border Terrier, Angus.
