Maisie Smith: Strictly star ‘has first kiss’ with HRVY backstage after ruling out romance
Strictly: HRVY addresses Maisie Smith romance rumours
Strictly Come Dancing 2020 dancing duos had been kept apart on the show due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic but now it seems as though Maisie Smith, 19, and HRVY, 21, have grew close following the series finale. According to a production source, the pair had their first kiss together last weekend.
Maisie and Hrvy has been brewing for weeks
They said: “Maisie and Hrvy has been brewing for weeks.
“The pair are so flirty together, and genuinely have a real laugh whenever they see one another.
“BBC bosses had explicitly warned against any romances, desperate to avoid any more ‘curse of Strictly’ stories.
“While, technically, they may not have been practising social distancing, they are both young and this was before Tier 4 restrictions came into play,” the source added to The Sun.

It comes after HRVY revealed the pair had been told off by BBC bosses for getting closer than what was allowed on the show.
HRVY admitted they had been “slightly closer than two metres” while talking to each other and received a telling off.
The singer said: “Obviously we try our best to socially distance when we are walking around the studios and outside, but obviously when you are walking and talking you don’t even realise.
“But no one touched each other.
“I just think we were maybe slightly closer than two metres while we were talking.”
He added to PA: “The BBC told us off and everything is all good and everyone is trying their best to maintain all the rules and regulation.
“We are all good. We are all OK.”
During the 2020 series, HRVY danced with Janette Manrara on the show, while Maisie was partnered up with Gorka Marquez.

Both dancing duos made it through to the final last weekend, but missed out on the Glitterball trophy to Bill Bailey and Oti Mabuse.
The EastEnders actress previously admitted she had been enjoying getting to HRVY, but on a friendly level.
“It’s a weird one. We get along so well – there was an instant connection between us – and I knew straight away that we would be friends,” she told OK! Magazine.
“Yes, there’s been ‘flanter’ [flirty banter], but I think it’s platonic.”
The Strictly finalist went on to say the flirting had been “harmless” and said she would probably say no if he asked her out on a date.
“I’ve not been thinking about boys at the moment,” she added. “I haven’t had time. I’ve been liking getting to know him.“
HRVY also recently admitted he was keen to see how things “blossom” between the pair after the show.
“Maisie really is so lovely and beautiful,” he told the publication as he addressed romance rumours.
