Mark Wright and Olly Murs led the stars in supporting England in their Euro 2020 quarter final clash against Ukraine.

The former TOWIE star, 34, and the singer, 37, both took to their respective Instagrams on Saturday afternoon to cheer on the Three Lions, who’s bid to get to the next round got off to a flying start thanks to Harry Kane’s four minute goal. 

Meanwhile, a whole host of other famous faces including David Beckham, Dani Dyer, Greg Shepherd and Jake Hall shared their excitement as football fever swept the country.

Mark was in animated spirits as he and a group of mates headed to a pub to get in the mood ahead of the match.

And they certainly proved to be a lively bunch as with pints in hand, they sang a reworking of Atomic Kitten’s Whole Again, with the lyrics changed in support of Gareth Southgate and his squad. 

They then moved to a covered viewing area to watch the match, where they gave another rendition of the song before singing the national anthem.

The footballer, who was without wife Michelle Keegan, was in a great mood as he sang and cheered alongside the raucous crowd.

Meanwhile, Olly showed his support with an Instagram snap of him wearing an England shirt while indulging in a takeaway from celeb hotspot Sheesh, with the X Factor star writing: ‘Come on England!’

Fans at a Manchester fan park went berserk after the England captain scored, with pints being flung into the air and one fan dressed as Gareth Soutgate in a waistcoast went wild. 

Millions of viewers are expected tune into the BBC’s coverage of England’s hotly anticipated quarter final, with Denmark awaiting tonight’s winners in next week’s UEFA Euro 2020 semi-final. 

Both Three Lions supporters who remained in the UK and those who made the journey to Rome vowed to cheer the national side to victory in Saturday’s crunch clash.

Thousands of fans had piled into the 70,000 capacity Stadio Olimpico as England bid to make their first Euro semi final for more than a quarter of a century. 

Chants of ‘Football’s Coming Home’ have echoed around the approaches to the stadium as captain Harry Kane led his team out in warmups, as England fans outnumbered those from Ukraine 4-1 on the streets of Rome.
