Marnie Simpson opens up on her ‘magical’ gender reveal party and how she felt drunk with happiness after finding out she’s having a baby boy in EXCLUSIVE OK! online baby blog
I had my gender reveal party where Casey and I found out that we are going to welcome a baby boy.
Honestly, it was such an amazing night. I was so overwhelmed by how many people turned up to it and it was just magical.
All the Geordie Shore gang came and it was a massive reunion – it was so fun!
It was so much better than I expected and I’ve never had a party before that was so amazing. It was such an adrenaline rush and I loved every minute of it. That all my closest friends and family were there made it even better.
I’m so happy I’m having a boy. I was really shocked and also over the moon and I’m just so excited.
It’s sunk in now and I was looking at my gifts from everyone after the party and everyone has just been so sweet and made it so special.
Casey enjoyed the party too, he loved it – he was really drunk! He was having a whale of a time. But I was so happy I felt drunk too, it was just so amazing.
I’ve been so busy this past week, I’ve been filming for the build-up to my gender reveal party. I had my scan to find out the gender and then I was just getting the party all set up. It was really busy and there was lots to do as it was such a big thing to plan.
I’m feeling really tired still. I’ve been filming for six weeks, but I’ve finished now so I’ve finally taken a deep breath. I’ve been trying to relax because I am feeling so exhausted.
I also think I’m going to start doing a little bit of exercise because I’ve kind of let all that go since I’ve been filming. I’ve been eating really bad too, so I’m going to try and start eating well and go to the gym.
I’m still planning on trying out veganism. I definitely want to give it a go and see how I get on. I’m really going to try.
I’m planning on having my placenta made into pills after I give birth. I’ve heard so many great things about eating your placenta and the benefits that comes with it, so I’m excited to give that a go. I’ll let you know how I get on!
That's all for this week guys, but stay tuned for my column next week.
