Mel B chows down on McDonald’s and champagne after Spice Girls tour show

Mel B enjoyed an interesting combination of McDonald’s and champagne after the Spice Girls’ latest tour show, proving to be a woman after our own hearts.

The Wannabe singer hit the streets of Coventry on Tuesday night after the Spice Girls performed at the Ricoh Arena, and found a down-to-earth way of unwinding after an exhaustive show.

Dressed in a leopard print onesie, Scary Spice stopped for a moment outside a petrol station where she stocked up on refreshments.

And frankly, her choices couldn’t be more perfect.

Sitting next to her McDonald’s order – Big Mac or nuggets? – and what looked to be a bottle of Ace of Spades champagne, Mel B told her 1.5 million Instagram followers: ‘I just ran off the stage with my four girls we had an amazing show in Coventry, now I’m on my way up to see my mum and pregnant sister because it’s her birthday.’

She added: ‘I’m now at the gas service stations, I’ve got my posh champagne and I’ve got my McDonald’s. What more could a girl want?’

Literally nothing else, Mel.

The Spice Girls are on a roll after launching their stadium tour in May and are preparing to bring the jaunt to Wembley Stadium where they will headline three nights.

It did get off to a rocky start however, with fans complaining of sound issues during the earlier tour dates in Dublin and Cardiff.

After suffering technical difficulties at the Dublin show, Mel B apologised to fans saying: ‘Hey guys, thanks you for attending our show tonight in Dublin we will see you in Cardiff and hopefully the vocals and the sound will be much better.’

However, it’s not all been bad with fans finally seeing Geri Horner and Mel B reunite after the latter awkwardly claimed they had slept together in the 1990s.
