Jeremy Clarkson, 61, has admitted he was left at a loss for what to do when he spotted an owl in the corner of his office at Diddly Squat Farm. The Grand Tour host revealed he turned to the internet to try and find some advice on how to deal with the beautiful bird, but didn’t have much luck.

Jeremy explained that after searching around online, he “was given a message claiming that someone from owlrescue.co.uk was trying to steal my data”.

Although the star doubted the warning was correct, he decided to come up with his own solution.

The Top Gear favourite penned in his latest column: “I saw it – in the corner of my office, under a chair.

“I have no idea how it got there but more importantly, I’ve no idea what I should do with it.

I’ve just been online for inspiration and when I clicked on one site, I was given a message claiming that someone from owlrescue.co.uk was trying to steal my data.

“This seems highly unlikely. Most owl rescue people are not thieves, in my experience.”

Sharing his resolution to deal with the unexpected visitor, Jeremy added to The Sun: “But anyway, I’ll wait until it goes dark and put it in one of the owl boxes I built last year.

“Wish me luck. And it,” he concluded.

Jeremy’s Diddly Squat Farm Shop Instagram page also shared a video of the little owl soaring around the roof of his office today.

The bird could be seen soaring around indoors before landing on top of Top Gear character The Stig’s hat, which was perched on a shelf.

The post was captioned: “Little owl & The Stig.”

Jeremy’s girlfriend Lisa Hogan could be heard saying to the owl: “So you like The Stig’s hat, huh?

Elsewhere, farmer Kaleb Cooper, 23, caused a stir when he gave an exciting insight into the second series of Jeremy’s hit Amazon Prime Video show, Clarkson’s Farm.

In the photo, Kaleb could be seen on the Chipping Norton farm with a camera crew.

In view of his 902,000 followers, he wrote: “Filming is well underway. Enjoying every minute of it as well!”
