Adam Peaty, 26, who is one of 15 celebrities competing in Strictly Come Dancing 2021, has been documenting his journey on his Instagram ahead of the first live show. However, in one of his sneak peeks, the Olympic swimmer appeared to show too much skin as Instagram took down his post due to “sexual activity”.

The saucy snap showed Adam as he stripped naked for a spray tan.

He soon took to the social media platform to share his surprise after the post was removed for “sexual activity”.

In the snap, posted to Adam’s account, he can be seen completely nude while smiling at the camera.

McFly singer Tom Fletcher, who is also competing in this year’s Strictly, appeared closer to the camera, holding his hand up to cover Adam’s modesty.

In his most recent Stories, Adam made a reference to the post, which subsequently got taken down.

Speaking to the camera, he said: “I also had another spray tan but it’s going to marinade, you know.

“But I’m not going to post anything now because I keep getting banned and one more post and I’m done so – oops!”

The athlete recently admitted he was facing a disadvantage, as his training schedule wasn’t quite up to scratch yet.

He pointed out that he had been the last contestant to start rehearsing.

Speaking about his decision to join the programme, he said: “It’s a challenge in life.

“As a sportsperson, I’m constantly getting challenged in the water, out of the water.

“I’m used to training and used to working hard, but I’ve taken a bit of time away from training, which has been in my life for the whole of my life basically.

“And for me, it’s just all about a challenge.”

Asked about his preparations for the BBC show, he explained: “Well, funnily enough, I think I’m the only one who’s not training.

“For me, I’m just trying to keep my fitness but at the same time I’ve taken a lot of time off.

“I know it’s going to be very hard and will be very different, but once the training starts, I’ll work hard – very hard.”

Some of Adam’s fellow Olympians have participated in previous seasons of the hit show, but the swimmer said he did not talk about the programme too much with his colleagues.

“I have [talked about it] a little bit, but I don’t want to know too much,” he said.

“I don’t want to ruin the surprise. So for me, I’m just making sure that I’m going to enjoy it and go into this competition – that’s what it is at the end of the day, a competition.

“I just want a fresh mind and to kind of see what we get.”
