Princess Eugenie took the opportunity to wish her husband Jack Brooksbank a Happy Father's Day on Sunday 20 June as she called him "the ultimate dad" to their gorgeous four-month-old baby son August.

The 31-year-old cousin of Prince William and Prince Harry posted some adorable snaps, with one of them showing Jack pushing baby August in a pram.

The second photo saw Eugenie and Jack grin for a selfie as August was wrapped up in a tiny hat in his baby carrier as they went for a family stroll.

Jack was then seen looking as happy as ever as he held onto their young baby in a sweet selfie, which could have been taken at Frogmore Cottage where they live.

The last snap saw Eugenie's husband and August catching up on some sleep as the newborn was seen lying down on Jack's chest.

Eugenie captioned the beautiful images: "Happy Father's Day to you my love.. you are the ultimate father to our boy!!"

It wasn't long until many fans waded in on the comments section with kind messages.

"Such beautiful pictures. Happy Father’s Day," one posted.

"Oh, these pictures are just adorable, Eugenie," another wrote.

"The last one is the essence of peace – so sweet! Thanks for sharing these photographs with us, & hope Jack enjoyed a wonderful first Father's Day."

A third fan shared: "Happy first Father’s Day to Jack, I hope he enjoyed his day and thank you Your Royal Highness for sharing these special images."

Eugenie and Jack welcomed August Philip Hawke Brooksbank on February 9 at the Portland Hospital in London.

It comes after the new mum led royal tributes to her late grandfather Prince Philip earlier this month on what would have been his 100th birthday.

Eugenie said she was "thinking of Grandpa" as she shared a picture of the Duke of Edinburgh and the Queen after her wedding in 2018.

Prince Charles, 72, followed in Eugenie's footsteps as he posted a previously unseen black and white picture from his childhood.

He was seen holding his father’s hand after Philip returned from a trip to Malta in 1951.

"Remembering Prince Philip today on what would have been his 100th birthday!” he said.

Prince Philip passed away on 9 April 2021 at the age of 99.
