Anne Heche is said to be in a critical condition after crashing her car into a building in Los Angeles.
The Nothing Left to Fear actress is believed to have been severely burnt in the dramatic incident which has seen her be transferred to an intensive care unit.
Anne, 53, reportedly crashed her Mini into a garage before smashing it into an apartment building in the Mar Vista area of Los Angeles before it exploded.

The actress who has previously dated Ellen DeGeneres was pulled from the Mini Clubman by firefighters at around 11am local time.
It's claimed that the second crash, into an apartment complex, caused "significant damage" to the Mini resulting in it exploding.
Speaking to TMZ, a source said: "She was driving a blue Mini Cooper and crashed into the garage of an apartment complex.
"Residents of the apartment complex tried getting Anne out of the vehicle but she put the car in reverse and then sped off.
"A short time later, she crashed into a nearby home, igniting a fire, the fire was significant and engulfed the house."
Anne was stretchered into an ambulance while wearing her "charred clothes" before being taken straight to a nearby intensive care unit.
Although she suffered severe burns and is currently being intubated, it's believed that her injuries are not life-threatening.
The Lose Angeles Fire Department later issued a statement saying it took 59 firefighters over an hour to put out the "stubborn flames" as well as rescuing "one female adult found within the vehicle."
Captain Erik Scott said: "We really had a multifaceted incident here.
"We had a significant traffic collision, we had entrapment of a woman inside that, we had a car that erupted into fire, and then we had a home that had a significant fire that is red-tagged. It's at this point destroyed."
Images show Anne's blue Mini completely burnt out on the street before it was taken away by a tow truck, leaving onlookers stunned.
Speaking to NBC Los Angeles, an eyewitness said: "The house was tons of smoke. I think they used the crane to move the car to extract the driver. It was crazy."
Meanwhile, news reporter Stu Mandel watched the incident from the air in a helicopter and told viewers: "If there's somebody alive in there, this is going to be a miracle."
A neighbour who caught the incident on his home camera said he heard a "loud crash" before adding several neighbours attempted to put the blaze out.
