Holly Willoughby issues health update as she pulls out of This Morning again
This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby has been off sick this week and has now revealed to fans what was up with her.
Holly, 40, has missed three episodes of This Morning this week following a brutal illness and has now said she won't return until Monday.
The TV host shared the update on Instagram on Thursday, written from the standpoint of her beloved cat.
Posting her 7.4 million followers, she shared a picture of her cat and said: “Good morning… My name is Bluebell.
“Sadly Holly won’t be able to come out to play on @thismorning today as she is still under the weather…
“Seriously what I’ve witnessed over the last 48 hours you wouldn’t want her there…
“I’m sure she’ll be back on Monday… Honestly I’m sick of the sight of her!”
Following her update, Holly’s fans quickly jumped to the comment section to offer their support.
One fan wrote: “Get well soon Holly x.”
A second added: “Get well soon Holly, we miss you.”
While a third wrote: “Get well soon Holly sending lots of positive vibes your way xx.”
“We miss you hollie get well soon… Josie is doing a great job,” stated a fourth.
Tuesday was the first show Holly missed this week, with Josie Gibson called in to cover for her.
On the programme, Co-host Phillip Schofield explained how Josie had been on her way to Surrey before being called into the studios.
He said: “An hour ago you were on your way to do our live shows in Surrey."
To which Josie replied: "Yep, one minute of TV, over Then I had a phone call."
Philip then shared with viewers at home how Holly was missing the show due to an unfortunate “stomach bug”.
Holly also took to social media on Wednesday to praise Josie’s presenting skills and thanked for her stepping into her slot.
Sharing a stunning snap of TV personality Josie with an emoji crown on her head, she typed: “Thank you @josiegibson85 for saving the day yesterday…
“I'll be back as soon as I'm in no threat of vomiting on @schofe."
