I’m A Celeb’s Danny Miller has famous dad who is friends with Sir Alex Ferguson

I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here star Danny Miller is not the only famous face in his family.

The 30-year-old has been said to be one of the favourites to win this year's ITV competition after competing in Monday night's gruesome eating challenge stomaching pigs' brains and goats' testicles.

The Emmerdale actor's father is also an entertainer, as he worked as the VIP host at Manchester United for 30 years.

Vince Miller, the "King of comperes" has met several A-listers including Dame Shirley Bassey, Johnny Mathis, and even gave the eulogy at comedian Bernard Manning's funeral.

On match days at Old Trafford, Vince would interview his pal Alex Ferguson.

In March 2017, the VIP host was forced to leave his job at the Manchester club after putting his arm around a waitress and calling her "love".

Vince later announced his retirement that year at aged 82 after players and friends of the Club explained how the word is a common saying in the north.

The new I'm A Celeb star Danny put on a large charity bash to pay tribute to his dad as he said he is "the best in the business."

Calling an end to his 65-year showbiz career, the father-of-nine said: “I’ve had a great career, I’ve done it all as a presenter, comedian, singer, I’ve been very fortunate. As Edith Piaf said, Je Ne Regrette Rien, no regrets!

“I’ve no upset about it, the time is now to get out while you’re on top, you don’t want people saying ‘not him again’!”

Danny who started his career on the 2007 series of Grange Hill has recently become a dad himself before entering the Castle.

He has also appeared in ITV detective series Scott and Bailey as well as winning Best Actor at the British Soap Awards three times after landing the role as Chas Dingle's son Aaron.
