Jacqueline Jossa says she ‘feels a bit lost’ as she bids farewell to old home
Jacqueline Jossa has told she "feels a bit lost" as moving house conjures up "mixed emotions".
Jungle Queen Jac and hubby Dan Osborne are shacking up in their "forever home" with daughters Ella and Mia – but the EastEnders actress admits she'll miss their £1 million Essex pad.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Jac told followers: "I'm actually really going to miss this house though, I'm excited and can't wait to move into the new [house emoji] but…. I will miss this place.
"Having a bath tonight I felt a bit lost. I don't want to leave but I also am excited to get moving. Mixed emotions.
"So much stress and work, lots of things creeping up that we weren't prepared for. Proud of us really @danosborneofficial."
Showbiz super couple Jac and Dan have already started work on their new property, with Jac sharing snaps of construction vehicles working on the garden.
Posting to their new Instagram account, @HomewiththeOsbornes, she revealed: "So I'm at the new house. So this is the flooring at the present, but the walls have all been painted now and the skirting's been done.
"We're having carpets up here because we're used to carpets and think it's cosier.
"I do like the look of wood floors but we're cosy people at heart, you know when you've just gotten out of the shower. You want to feel the warmth on your tootsies!
"I mean it's all cracking on. We've got the painters up there on whatever that is called.
"They're ripping up the floorboards already. It doesn't look like much has happened."
She added with a laugh: "I reckon we're going to need about a million skips."
The family are currently staying in rented accommodation while the renovations make the property habitable.
Going by the scope of the garden, Ella, Mia, and Dan's son Teddy are going to have plenty of space to run around during the summer months.
Jac recently toasted "new beginnings" as she shared a snap of the place with followers, gleefully writing: "WE GOT THE KEYS. We have waited a while but we picked up the keys to our forever home.
"It needs some tender loving care, a lick of paint and some tweaks. I love love love it so much. I'm so proud."
