Katie Price has revealed she never received an apology from Frankie Boyle for the Harvey joke he made over 11 years ago.

On Frankie’s comedy sketch show, Frankie Boyle's Tramadol Nights, the comedian made a vile joke about Harvey, who was eight years old at the time and who has a rare genetic condition called Prader-Willi syndrome.

He said: ”Apparently Jordan [Katie Price] and Peter Andre are fighting each other over custody of Harvey – well eventually one of them'll lose and have to keep him.

“I have a theory that Jordan married a cage fighter cause she needed someone strong enough to stop Harvey from f**king her.”

At the time Katie said: "If Mr Boyle had a 10th of his courage and decency he would know that to suggest, let alone think funny, that Harvey may sexually attack me is vile and deeply unfair.

“To bully this unbelievably brave child is despicable, to broadcast it on television is to show a complete and utter lack of judgment.”

Peter Andre’s representative also responded to the comments made by Boyle and said: "We're all disgusted by these comments. Peter is angry and very upset at Harvey being mocked in this way. Children, especially a disabled youngster, should be off-limits.”

The charity Mencap described Boyle's joke as a "disgusting" attack on a disabled child, and broadcast regulator Ofcom upheld 500 complaints about the incident and censured Boyle and Channel 4 for broadcasting the jokes.

They ruled that the material appeared to directly target and mock the mental and physical disabilities of a known eight-year-old child who had not himself chosen to be in the public eye, stating: ”As such, Ofcom found that the comments had considerable potential to be highly offensive to the audience."

Now, more than a decade later Katie has said that she has “given up” on waiting for an apology from Frankie.

In the new book, Katie Price: Harvey & Me, the 43-year-old star said: “Despite asking several times, I never received an apology from Frankie and I still haven’t to this day. I think it’s fair to say I’ve given up waiting for that one.”

It comes after the star slammed her ex Dwight York for being "just a sperm donor" after he has had nothing to do with their son Harvey's life.

In her book, Katie wrote: "To be honest, he doesn’t deserve Harvey. Harvey is incredibly special and anyone would be lucky to have him.

"I count my blessings every day that he’s mine. Dwight has never been a part of his life and he gets zero credit for him.

"He’s done absolutely nothing for him and he should be ashamed."
