Love Island Davide and Ekin-Su kiss brutally compared to ‘horror movie’ by hosts

Love Island’s podcast hosts Steff Todd and Tyler West slammed Davide and Ekin-Su’s infamous kiss in front of their fellow islanders and compared it to a “horror movie”.

The Morning After podcast is released the following morning and usually presented with former Love Island contestant Kem Cetinay, who was replaced with Tyler due to “international duty”.

They kicked off the conversation with Tyler’s brutal quip: “It was like, when I’m sitting there on an evening and eating banoffee pie. I sit there and lick the bowl clean, it was like that. It was an absolute full on attack. It was something from a movie! If they had slowed it down, put it in slow-mo, it would have been a really romantic scene in a movie.”

Steff questioned whether he was telling the truth and he continued: “Tongues were going everywhere, slipping, sliding, all that. It was like an eel.”

Steff then added: “It was more like a horror movie than a romantic movie. Both of them, as well, in the game, had a lot in common. Threesomes, foursomes, ex-girlfriends, partners watching them, friends, partners, weird. We learned a lot about Davide.”

They went on to discuss Jacques’ technique when he hit on Ekin-Su soon after he entered the villa.

Tyler said that he thinks “a lot of people fit her type,” and joked that they could be “anything that breathes”.

He also added that “if you can do a squat with her on your shoulders” or if you’re “a rugby player” then you automatically go up in her rankings.

Steff then explained that Jacques entered “stealth mode” when he spoke to Ekin-Su, which came as a surprise to viewers when they crossed paths.

Ekin-Su was leaving the villa at the same time as Jacques, who teased that it “looked like he was following her”.

Ekin-Su’s interest was piqued and the pair decided to have a chat together.

Tyler claimed she did a “delayed walk” and a “second look back” when she knew Jacques was behind her, which Tyler said he “knew for a fact” as it’s a thing he’s noticed people do before.

The hosts then agreed that there must have been some “eye contact” in the bedroom before they left the house, which Tyler branded “serious eyes galore” and “deep meaningful eye connection”.
