Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan give look at impressive new Essex mansion

Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan have shown off their incredible new abode, as they get ready to move in.

Former The Only Way is Essex star Mark, 35, and gorgeous actress Michelle, 34, have kept fans up to date with the progress of their mega mansion via an Instagram account dedicated to their new home.

The property is set in the cascading hills of the Essex countryside, with stunning serene nature views.

Mark took to Instagram stories on Tuesday morning (May 2) to show off the sweeping driveway which is well and truly underway.

The couple chose gorgeous light grey bricks to pave the way to their home, which builders have started to lay down on the foundations.

The video Mark uploaded was captioned: “So it’s begun! The driveway finally on the way! Buzzing we went for this block!

“Been asked ever since our decision making what colour we chose, dark or light from @marshallsgroup reveal coming soon,” as he showed the huge space ready for the blocks to go down.

In the next video, he revealed builders hard at work, as he captioned the story: “We chose the light and we are so happy!”

He went on to say: “Buzzing we went for this block.

“Cannot wait to see all this done!! Been wanting this for so long!!”

The massive new driveway is lined with tall trees, and the front gate is yet to be revealed, after the couple showcased their options in a post several weeks ago asking followers for advice.

There were five gate options, ranging from a super modern wooden gate with gaps between the panels, or a traditional metal gate with lanterns either side.

Their followers couldn’t wait to offer their help, with the majority calling for Mark and Michelle to choose either options three or four, which were large black wooden gates.

Absolutely no expense has been spared on the creation of the bespoke property, which features amazing black and gold marble kitchen slabs.

The kitchen also has a light up bar with beer pumps on tap so Mark can grab a pint whenever he fancies.

They are also building a massive luxury swimming pool, and in home sauna and steam room.

Originally, Mark and Michelle bought the mock Tudor property for £1.3million back in 2019 and they have completely transformed the four acre plot into their dream home.

They knocked down the original cottage and have built from the ground up, when official work went underway in early 2021.

The mansion has five bedrooms – each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, and three bedrooms features large dressing rooms.

The massive estate has been estimated to cost closer to £3.5m.
