Megan Barton Hanson branded ‘trophy girlfriend’ over sex positive career

Love Island babe Megan Barton Hanson says she is finding it hard to find The One as many men judge her for her racy career choices.

Before going on the hit ITV show, Meg, 24, worked as a stripper at a Southend-on-Sea club and as a webcam girl.

She now rakes in thousands of pounds by posing for sexy snaps via subscription site OnlyFans as well as speaking frankly about sexual empowerment.

Meg currently charges $24.99 (£18.70) per month for access to her official page which boasts 209 pictures and videos.

However, despite loving her job and having no plans to tone things down, the beauty says some men only see her for her sex appeal.

The blonde babe told Daily Star: "There is a percentage of men who do just see me as this sexual thing.

"I'd be a trophy girlfriend if they were to have me as their girlfriend.

"Because of the stigma with OnlyFans people see me as this very sexual person, yes it is job I enjoy doing but it's only part of me.

"I think if you are an open minded guy you see past it all and you see it is just a job. It is just narrow-minded of them. I want someone who is funny and loyal."

Meg, who dated Wes Nelson during her time in the TV villa in 2018, continued: "I went on a date recently and the guy was really rude and oversharing his sex life and what he enjoys doing.

"It was literally our first date. I was out of there within 20 minutes."

Despite being open to finding the one after a series of failed romances, Megan, who appears in MTV's latest dating show Ex In The City, admits even being on VIP dating app Raya hasn't helped her find the one.

According to reports, everyone from actor Channing Tatum to One Direction's Niall Horan have been seen on the site.

Megan said: "I am on Raya but that is pretty tricky. I actually get most of my dates from Instagram now.

"Someone who slides into my DMs [direct messages] and is not super cringey.

"It is hard as it's been lockdown but there has even been some cute people I have met when buying my house.

"I have slid in to messages myself as well – I am upfront. If I want something I wont hold back. I will try my best to get it."
