Sharon Osbourne brutally brands Prince Harry ‘poster boy of white privilege’

Sharon Osbourne has branded Prince Harry as the "poster boy of white privilege" in a new interview.

The 68-year-old former X Factor judge, who recently exited the cast of The Talk following a controversial argument with co-host Sheryl Underwood, spoke out during an episode of HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher.

She discussed her departure from the CBS daytime talk show and accusations that she is racist.

Ozzy Osbourne's wife left The Talk last month after an on-air clash with Sheryl about Piers Morgan's criticism of Meghan Markle and Harry's interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Sharon denied former co-star Leah Remini’s claim that she called Julie Chen "slanty eyes" and referred to Sara Gilbert as a "p***y licker" as well as Holly Robinson Peete’s accusation that Sharon deemed her "too ghetto" to host the talk show.

She went on to call them "disgruntled ladies" saying the offensive language is "not in my vocabulary".

Sharon also discussed whether the British monarchy might have racist tendencies.

While Bill suggested the idea, the TV personality dismissed it and said that anyone joining the family would have experienced a similar situation to Meghan, 39.

Sharon said: "I've been called so many things in my life. I am so used to being called names. But a racist is one I will not take."

"[The Queen] is from a different generation.

"They are notoriously non-huggy. I get it, because of her age. She’s from a different generation."

Sharon later addressed Harry and Meghan‘s bombshell chat with Oprah and the claims they made about being cut off by the royal family.

"You know when they say white privilege? You know, right there with Harry. Right there. He is the poster boy," she said.

"So you know, he sits there and says 'Daddy cut him off and he’s not on the wages anymore' and he was boohooing about it.

"You can’t feel empathy for that. Because you’re a healthy, bright, educated young man.

"You can do whatever you want to do. Your life is your own."

Sharon got heat on The Talk on March 10 for defending Piers, 56, after he quit Good Morning Britain over his comments about Meghan.

The outspoken former newspaper editor caused controversy after dismissed the Duchess of Sussex’s account of her struggles with mental health and other issues.

Ofcom said the episodes of the ITV breakfast programme that aired on 8 and 9 March had sparked 57,121 complaints.

Sharon told Bill that she didn’t understand "what he uttered that’s racist".

The entertainment manager explained that she still felt that neither she or Piers did anything wrong other than express doubt in Markle’s statements during her bombshell interview with Oprah.

She said: "Disagreeing with somebody does not make you a racist in my book."
