Tom Cruise forced to call security after intruders breach Mission Impossible set
Tom Cruise has been forced to call security to stop intruders breaking onto the set of the latest Mission Impossible film, it has been reported.
The 58-year-old actor is currently filming the seventh instalment in the franchise in Yorkshire.
The production of the film has already been delayed more than once due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The crew have built a huge set inside a vast quarry, where the action hero has been filming his traditional dangerous stunts.
However daredevils have decided to break on to the set rather than wait for the movie to come out to watch the drama unfold.
It has happened so regularly that Tom has been forced to bring in security to remove the trespassers.
Speaking to The Sun a film insider said: “The set is so large and open that it has been impossible to close it all off.
“So trespassers have been getting in and attempting to scale the rigs and equipment set up for the stunts.

“It is a health-and-safety nightmare. Police were called to one incident last week and then Tom was forced to take action when it happened again.”
“The set looks exciting and these people think it’s funny trying to get pictures of themselves there, but they don’t realise how dangerous it is.
The source said things went too far with one incident of two intruders being spotted climbing up the set, leading to security having to rush to get them down.

Reportedly, Tom is not only worried about the safety risks from trespasser but also does not want any further delays to the movie.
Setbacks have already caused the film’s release date to be pushed back ten months to next May.
Last week the strong Yorkshire wind was said to have delayed shooting as it was deemed too unsafe to film.
The incident reportedly enraged Tom and set him off on a fresh rant, after he previously raged against staff that did not follow social distancing rules properly.
In leaked audio he was heard shouting: “If I see you do it again, you're f***ing gone.
"And if anyone in this crew does it, that's it — and you too and you too. And you, don't you ever f***ing do it again.”
