Apprentice star Luisa Zissman reveals MORE celebs are secretly holidaying in Dubai after she moved to UAE city
APPRENTICE star Luisa Zissman has revealed that MORE celebs are secretly holidaying in Dubai, after Towie star Mario Falcone was accused of "pretending to be home in Essex" when he was spotted in the UAE.
Luisa, 33, moved to the sun-soaked city with her husband Andrew Collins and her three children due to Andrew's work commitments.
And she has now revealed that she's seen many stars in the area, who have kept their whereabouts a secret from fans.
In an Instagram Q&A, the reality TV favourite was asked: "Have you seen any celebs in Dubai that are claiming to be 'in the UK' with the rest of us?"
The no-nonsense star shared a crying with laughter emoji as she replied: "Yes.
"I check their Instagrams to see if they have said and quite a few haven't.
"Each to their own. Just have to own the s**t you do and decisions you make though."
Reality TV stars and influencers have come under fire in recent months for jetting to Dubai during the coronavirus pandemic – sunning themselves abroad while the rest of the country remains under strict lockdown in the UK.
Rules stated that Brits should only travel out of the country for "essential work reasons", with the celebs receiving death threats and losing followers after claiming that their luxury trips were necessary to their jobs.
Stars to come under fire for their holidays include Chloe Ferry, Laura Anderson, and Towie favourites including Chloe Lewis and Demi Sims.
On Friday, ex The Only Way Is Essex star Mario was "exposed" for uploading a picture of himself sat in his UK garden – while a video of him in the sunshine suggested that he was actually in Dubai.
An onlooker told the Mail, who published the video: "It's bad enough the influencers who are out here trying to defend themselves as some have.
"But to slip over here and leave all your Instagram followers thinking that you're back home shivering with everyone else in England during lockdown is outrageous."
Mario and his family were reportedly staying at the £250-a-night Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Hotel – but made no mention of the trip on social media.
It is believed that they left the holiday destination on Friday morning, with the insider saying that Mario's fiancée Becky made the trip for a meeting related to her beauty business – and Mario had joined to look after their two-year-old son Parker.
The UAE, of which Dubai is a part, has been added to Britain's quarantine 'red list' amid a spike in coronavirus cases.
Direct flights are now on hold meaning Brits – including any Instagram stars out in Dubai – will only be able to make their journey home via third countries.
Earlier this week Mario questioned the incoming quarantine rules, tweeting: "So with this ‘hotel quarantine’ idea. Will lorry drivers bringing food in have to? Football teams in the European cups?
"Pilots and cabin crew? What stops people just leaving? A fine? By force? Are the hotels ventilation systems not going to pass the virus around?"
Luisa shot to fame on the 2013 series of Apprentice and married businessman Andrew in 2015.
The pair share four-year-old Indigo and three-year-old Clementine, with Luisa also mum to 10-year-old Dixie from a previous relationship.
