BBC Breakfast fans beg Louise Minchin to change as they’re distracted by outfit
BBC Breakfast's Louise Minchin caused a stir on the show when she appeared alongside Dan Walker in a jumper so bright viewers "needed sunglasses".
In the clip, from Tuesday (May 11), Louise was wearing a dazzling yellow top.
Weather reporter Carol Kirkwood noticed the super-bright garment and told her: "Lou you’re looking lovely and summery today."
"Thank you very much!" said Louise.
Dan said: "It is brighter on the screen than it is in real life, when I caught a glimpse of it I was like 'Wowzers!'"
He added: "I like it, it has brightened up the studio this morning."
Carol and Dan weren't alone in noticing their co-star's daring wardrobe, with viewers commenting on Twitter appearing to be divided on whether it was appropriate.
One person wrote: "Louise please change the top. It is too bright yellow."
A second viewer, tagging the show, remarked: "Jeeze, just joined you, I can't cope with that jumper, Louise.
"Where are my sunglasses?"
"Can’t miss you today," joked someone else noticing the extreme hue.
BBC Breakfast's Naga Munchetty, 46, awkwardly refused bottle of wine at shop
Meanwhile, other people were impressed with the look and begged to know where they could buy the yellow jumper.
One fan commented: "Where is your jumper from? Absolutely beautiful!"
A second even criticised her co-host Dan and quipped: "Morning! What a nice sunshiny jumper much cheerier than Dan Walker's boring old suit."
Louise seemed to notice the drama she was causing with her clothing and made a cheeky Twitter post herself.
In the caption, she wrote: "Good morning. Don’t adjust your set. #yellownotsomellow."

Dan then joked in a tweet she looked like Freddie Mercury and uploaded a picture of the late Queen superstar donning a bright yellow jacket.
This comes after BBC Breakfast's Mike Bushell ran out of the studio, leaving Naga Munchetty in stitches with his wild antics.
Before Naga could finish what she was saying, Mike interrupted with: "I love this next item. I’ve got to go, I’d love to stay."
He then whipped off his jacket and bolted out of the camera shot.
