Benidorm star Hannah Hobley is unrecognisable 15 years on from playing teen mum Chantelle

BENIDORM star Hannah Hobley is unrecognisable 15 years on from playing teen mum Chantelle Garvey.

The hit ITV comedy series first aired in February 2007 and ran until May 2018.

One of the families that featured prominently in the series were the Garvey's, lead by parents Mick and Janice (Steve Pemberton and Siobhan Finneran).

The couple were joined by their children Michael and Chantelle and Chantelle's baby son Coolio, bringing much hilarity to our screens during their annual stay at the Solana all-inclusive hotel.

Hannah, 33, starred in the show until series three, while her on-screen family remained until series six before taking on recurring roles in series seven.

Hannah has ditched the heavy eyeliner and straight locks that she sported as Chantelle and now embraces a winged eyeline look and curled tresses.

Hannah recently paid tribute to the show to mark its 15th anniversary, posting a picture of the Garvey's walking through the Spanish resort with a cameraman in front of them.

She wrote alongside it: "Yesterday marked 15 years since the first episode of Benidorm aired… The show that changed my life!"

Hannah's Instagram also reveals how she became engaged to fiance Nathan during a romantic proposal in New York at the start of January.

Sharing a snap of her flashing her new engagement ring while cuddling up to her beau she wrote: "Central Park came with with a central PERK".

Around the same time as appearing in Benidorm, Hannah also starred in period drama Cranford as Bertha.

Her Instagram page also reveals she has continued to act in pantomimes and with the Death By Pie theatre company.
