Besides the 1-minute teaser trailer, the premium network also unveils a poster for the upcoming series which has, ‘The end is only the beginning,’ written on it.

AceShowbiz -The first look at “Star Trek: Picard” has found its way out online in the form of first teaser trailer. CBS All Access released the footage on Thursday, May 23, featuring Patrick Stewart reprising his iconic role of Jean-Luc Picard.

The 1-minute teaser opens with Picard working at the vineyard. “15 years ago today, you led us out of the darkness,” a woman describes Picard’s story in voiceover. “You commanded the greatest rescue armada in history. Then, the unimaginable.”

“What did that cost you? Your faith? Your faith in us? Your faith in yourself?” the voice asks as someone wearing boots walks across a vineyard before a few bottles of wine flicker on the screen. “Tell us, why did you leave Starfleet, admiral?”

The video concludes with Picard making an appearance while looking somber.

Fans of “Star Trek” may remember that Picard’s family owns a vineyard. It was featured in a season 4 episode of “Next Generation” titled “Family” in addition to the series finale “All Good Things….” It seems like he returns to the vineyard after leaving Starfleet behind.

Besides the first teaser, CBS All Access also unveils a poster for the upcoming series. “The end is only the beginning,” reads the logline.
