Coronation Street fans have said there is a legal plot hole in Tyrone Dobbs (played by Alan Halsall) and Fiz Stape’s (Jennie McAlpine) storyline as well as Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) and Leanne Battersby’s (Jane Danson) current plot. It comes after the two men have both moved out of their respective homes, with the ladies staying put. However, those watching at home were quick to point out the house Fiz and the two girls live in actually belongs to Tyrone, similarly to the flat Leanne and Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) currently occupy belongs to the Underworld boss.
In an early scene of the double bill last night, Leanne shut the front door and heard someone in one of the back rooms.
“Hello?” She shouted panicked it was one of the men working for the drugs gang.
When she saw her ex, she exclaimed: “It’s you! What are you doing here? Why didn’t you answer me?”
“Because I know I’m the last person you want to see,” Nick remarked. “Are you going to put that down? Preferably not on my head.”
“You should’ve be here Nick,” Leanne warned and Nick replied: “”Well, you made that abundantly clear. I need to find my laptop charger, it’s the only place I haven’t looked.”
“You need to go, I’ve got someone coming around in a minute,” she urged and he speculated it was her new partner, Harvey (Will Mellor).
Then in another scene, Fiz and Tyrone went head to head when she found out about the mechanic helping Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu) in the Street.
“Why are you running around after her and why are you defending her? I thought you told her to leave!” Fiz exclaimed.
Tyrone explained: “I have, but she’s got a flat here, she’s got two jobs.”
“I am starting to get sick of that simpering little cow,” Fiz commented and her partner continued: “I asked her to go, I did. But I can’t force her.”
“Are you taking her side over mine?” Fiz screeched, and viewers saw Tyrone reveal: “I am not. I helped the girl carry a couple of heavy boxes into the salon, I would do that for anybody.
“And I’m not defending her, I didn’t want Sally shouting our business all over the Street. I made a mistake and it won’t happen again. And it doesn’t matter where Alina lives because I am not interested in her, I love you, okay?”

But it wasn’t long before Tyrone revealed the truth and told Fiz he was in love with Alina and she made the decision that they needed to spend some time apart and he had to move out.
Taking to Twitter to comment on both storylines, one said: “It’s Nick’s house too. Something fishy going on with house ownership in #Corrie. Maybe Kev will move out soon too.”
“I really need to know who owns that flat, Nick or Leanne,” another wondered.
A third wrote: “Got to love it down the street – Leanne moves into Nick’s and throws him out of his flat, Fizz moves into the house Tyrone owns and ends up throwing him out of that – good way to get a property portfolio without spending a penny #Corrie.”
“Erm… Why is Tyrone leaving?! The house is in his name? Just like the flat that Leanne is in, is actually Nicks! #Corrie,” someone else pointed out.
While one tweet read: “Tyrone’s having to leave his OWN house? Really?! The same house Jack and Vera left to him #Corrie.”
“I’m confused…. isn’t that Tyrone’s house? And isn’t Ruby his daughter…. #corrie,” a fan remarked.
Coronation Street airs tonight on ITV at 7.30pm.
