Coronation Street’s Kelly in danger, Seb’s final gift to Abi and Jenny heartache

Coronation Street youngster Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) finds herself in danger in upcoming scenes as she turns to drugs once again.

Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) tells her brother Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) that Kelly is now living at No.7 and working at the barber’s so he best warn Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) before she bumps into her.

Kelly’s chuffed when Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) offers her an apprenticeship but as Abi clocks her she’s unsettled.

Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) tells Abi how she found Kelly in a bad way and although she can’t forgive her for what she did, it’s time to put a stop to all the hatred.

Aadi Alan (Adam Hussain) later finds Kelly packing. Kelly explains that for Abi’s sake, she needs to find somewhere else to live and Aadi urges her to talk to Abi.

When Abi asserts they need to get in the Christmas spirit as it’s what Seb would have wanted, Kevin and Jack (Kyran Bowes) are delighted.

Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) hands Kevin a few of Seb’s things that Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell) found in the flat. As Kevin reads a letter his jaw drops.

Kevin shows the letter to Tyrone but asserts Abi mustn’t find out.

Kevin’s secretive as he takes a phone call, his face etched with worry.

Having read Seb’s letter Kevin pulls out all the stops for Abi. Abi thanks Kevin for the best Christmas present ever.

He reveals it was actually Seb who was behind it.

Later in the week, Abi’s furious to find Kelly has left flowers in Seb’s memorial garden.

Spotting her enjoying a meal in the bistro with Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) and Aadi, Abi plonks herself at a nearby table and stares at Kelly with pure hatred.

Kelly’s unnerved and Dev messages Kevin about Abi’s behaviour.

Kevin tries to reason with her, pointing out that terrorising Kelly will do no good, but Abi’s unrepentant, vowing that soon she won’t have to worry about Kelly.

As Abi bars Kelly on her way into the barbers, Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo) watches concerned.

Abi tells Imran she just wants Kelly out of her life for good.

But when Imran reminds her she’s done some pretty shameful things herself, Abi slaps him across the face.

When Maria asks Kelly why she failed to turn up to work, with Abi’s eyes boring into her, Kelly lies that she couldn’t be bothered.

Maria tells her she’s fired. Craig later finds Kelly in a state having taken some spice.

At the police station Craig urges her to get help before she ends up back in prison. But does Kelly have anywhere to turn?

Elsewhere, hunky Leo (Joe Frost) invites Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) out for a drink but she refuses to commit, leaving Leo hurt.

Jenny asserts that Leo is too young for her but Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) thinks she’s mad and deserves some fun.

Leo asks Jenny to come and watch him play rugby. Jenny apologises to Leo for blowing hot and cold, will they kiss and make up?

Daisy catches Jenny putting on her makeup at 5am as she doesn’t want Leo to wake up and see her naked face.

As he chats about his New Year’s Eve plans Jenny’s more aware than ever of their age gap. Will she be spending New Year alone?
