'Counting On' Fans Are Completely Over All the Instagram Photos of Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard Kissing

Even those who don’t watch reality TV are aware of who the Duggars are. While Jim Bob and Michelle first brought their family into the spotlight due to the fact that they had 19 kids, it’s the older children (who are now all in their mid-20s) who have continued on with their reality TV legacy. Jessa, Jinger, and Jill have all proven themselves to be fan favorites — but we can’t forget about Jill Duggar, either. While she’s no longer on TLC’s Counting On (she can thank her husband, Derick Dillard, for that), she and Derick still have a super strong following via social media.

While Jill definitely has fans, people love to hate on her Instagram content just as much. And her followers seem to be particularly offended by the amount of PDA she shows off with Derick.

The Duggars adore kissing their spouses and even created a social media challenge out of it

Derick and Jill don’t hold much back on their socials — and it seems none of the Duggars are ashamed of showing off how much they love their spouses. We can’t forget that the Duggars don’t kiss until marriage. After marriage, however, Michelle Duggar has stated that she encourages all women to always be available to serve their husbands’ wants and needs — so when it comes to anything sexual, they certainly make up for lost time.

Years ago, Michelle and Jim Bob even created a kissing challenge via Facebook — and of course, they added a photo of them smooching to advertise the event. “God loves marriage and it is supposed to be full of love, joy, fun, and romance. Marriage is where romance belongs!” the post reads. “We’ve been married 30 years and are still in love! We had fun trying to duplicate Ben and Jessa’s happily married kissing picture. We challenge all married couples to take a happily married picture and post it here.”

Many couples partook in the challenge, of course. And it seems Jill and Derick (among other Duggar couples) have never stopped recording their smooches since.

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard have many photos of their smooching

Derick and Jill may no longer be able to show off their relationship on TV, but they’re just fine with expressing their love on Instagram. There are photos from years past — like this one from 2015 — that shows the happy couple kissing. Jill even created a special birthday Instagram post for Derick with a photo of the two of them locking lips from 2016 — and she’ll often add sweet sentiments with the kissing photos, too. “You are the most encouraging, sweet, Godly guy in the whole world and I’m so in love with you!” Jill posted along with this kissing photo.

Jill’s been surprisingly open about the secrets to her healthy and happy marriage more recently, too. On the Dillard Family blog, she wrote an entire post on “how to love your husband” — and she gets pretty detailed in terms of romance suggestions, too. Jill recommends having sex three to four times a week as “a good start.” She also adds, “And when you may not be able to actually have intercourse for a period of time or for health issues, find other ways to have fun and be intimate.”

Fans are totally over their PDA

While Jill and Derick may think their photos are cute, fans have a lot of criticism. Recently, Jill posted photos from a friend’s wedding — and while many of the photos were of the bride and groom and event, there was one added of Jill and Derick locking lips. To that, one of her followers commented, “I could have done without the kissing picture of you and Derick…it was not your wedding.” Jill should be used to fans calling her out for the kissing photos by now, though. “Sorry, but this is so awkward,” another fan commented on this photo of the couple. On the same photo, another added, “Ewwwwe….keep that stuff private yuck!”

Whether it’s the PDA moments or their parenting, it looks like Jill and Derick will always be the center of controversy. Here’s hoping they don’t let it get them down too much!
