EastEnders’ Lorraine Stanley poses with lookalike sis as fans call them ‘twins’
EastEnders actress Lorraine Stanley had her fans guessing if she had a secret twin after the soap star posted a smiling photo with her lookalike sister on social media.
Lorraine, 44, plays Karen Taylor on the iconic BBC soap, but if she ever needs an understudy for Karen it appears she already has one in the family.
Lorraine shared a sweet sibling photo with her sister Donna, 40, and the pair threw up some playful peace signs at their home.
Lorraine looked a far cry from her character on Albert Square as she sported some gorgeous blonde curls in their lovely looking living room.
Taking to Instagram, Lorraine penned an affectionate tribute to her sister whom she clearly loves a lot.
In true Cockney style, she wrote: "Skin and blister @dstanley80 … love love love," with love hearts and peace sign emojis.
Her fans soon flocked to the comments to share their excitement, and many couldn't believe how much the two sisters looked alike.
One gobsmacked follower replied: "You two are twins!!"
A second fan clearly agreed, and joked: "Why does she look more like Karen Taylor than you do?"
A third commented: "Aww you look so alike."
A fourth follower then echoed the twin banter, saying: "Wow, are you twins?"
A fifth then added: "Spitting image of each other."
Lorraine made her first appearance on EastEnders back in 2004 when she debuted in a special episode following the story of Laila Morse's character Big Mo's feud with Pat Butcher – played by Pam St Clement.

The episode featured a series of flashbacks that revealed the two iconic characters in their early days.
Some fans might be surprised to discover that before she played Karen, she actually played a younger version of Big Mo – who married Pat's brother Jimmy – as Emma Cooke took on the role of a younger Pat.
Known for her time on Albert Square as busy mum Karen with her more scruffy clothes, Lorraine looked very different dressed up in a wedding dress in the archive episode.
In real life, though, Lorraine looks much more glam, and her "twin" sister looks great too!
