EastEnders star Melissa Suffield has posted a picture on her social media confidently showing her post-baby figure.

Melissa, who played Lucy Beale in the BBC One soap, regularly posts pictures on her Instagram with updates on family life after giving birth to her first child last March.

Sharing pictures in yellow lingerie, Melissa’s caption encouraged her followers to find their ‘power colour’ as she explained yellow makes her ‘feel so goddamn RADIANT’.

She wrote: ‘Yellow is totally my power colour. I just always feel so goddamn RADIANT in it, really at the top of my game. It feels aspirational, everything I want to be- bold and bright, yet sunny and unapologetic. And finding the colours and environments that make you feel powerful and energised is such a nifty hack to boost your confidence.’

She continued: ‘Whether that’s filling your home with sunflowers, wearing red lipstick, or spending some time staring out at the sea. Recognising the things that bring us joy, that ground us, that embolden us is such a great little mini exercise that we can all do.

Take 5 minutes to think about the things that bring you joy, that make you want to play, sing, dance and laugh, the colours and scenes you see. And channel that sh*t daily. You deserve joy and you deserve a boost.’

Melissa’s posts on her social media offer a lot of support and confidence to other women.

A recent post that encouraged women to love themselves saw her write in the caption: ‘Loving yourself and OWNING it is a GOOD THING. We should not vilify confident women. Do not try to tear them down.’

Melissa played Lucy Beale from 2004-2010.

After Melissa left the role, Hetti Bywater took over and played Lucy from 2012-2014.
