Janine Butcher (played by Charlie Brooks) has tried to oust Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) from her family home for 12 months now and just as her plan has come to fruition, an Express.co.uk theory suggests justice may finally arrive to the Albert Square. But, could her own daughter Scarlett (Tabitha Byron) turn out to be the unlikely source of her downfall?
Official spoilers of EastEnders show this week’s episodes will have Janine sweating on the outcome of her plot to move into the Queen Vic for good.
The drama unfolds when Scarlett accidentally eavesdrops on Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) and Linda discussing Janine’s relationship with her daughter.
In the Carter’s household of the Queen Vic, Scarlett is concerned when she sees her mum in Frankie Lewis’ (Rose Ayling-Ellis) photo.
The innocent photo of Frankie on a night out with Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) has Janine in the background disposing of her bloody clothes from the night of her car crash alongside Linda.

With her worries over her mum’s plans with the Carter’s, Scarlett seeks some guidance from an understandably interested Linda.
Scarlett slowly begins to open up to Linda about the worries she has about her scheming mum, but holds back.
After everything Janine has put Linda through, the former wife of Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) is convinced she has more to say.
Scarlett looks as though she’s going to bring down the house of cards her mother has built for herself.
Linda probes the teenager for more information about Janine, but a panicked Scarlett runs away.
As has been the case with Linda recently, her suspicions of Janine takes over, but this time she is not letting anyone get in the way of her feelings.
Later on, Janine is continuing to play happy families with Mick and the children, including Annie, who Janine helped social services take away from Linda.
In the domestic bliss, Mick tells a jubilant Janine that Scarlett can meet his children that evening.
However, the look of smugness from Janine turns to dread once Mick tells her of Scarlett’s whereabouts.
The pub landlord tells his recently-moved-in partner, her daughter is currently with his ex-wife.
Later in the BBC soap, Scarlett returns to Linda and this time there is more detail she wants to share with her mother’s love rival.
An Express.co.uk theory suggests Scarlett is returning to lift the lid on the actions of her mother to Linda.
After Scarlett tells Linda her involvement in the crash, Linda will seize the opportunity to finally get revenge on her long standing enemy.
With a long crib sheet of misdemeanours over Linda’s crash, the police would arrest Janine for perverting the course of justice.
Before she gets the chance to worm her way out of any distress, Janine may face the same fate Linda’s children did when they saw their mother arrested for drink-driving.
Could Scarlett spell the end of Janine in Walford, or will her mother have one more ace up her sleeve?
