Next week's Emmerdale sees Jimmy and Nicola King put on a united front after their split when Juliette Holliday drops yet another bombshell over son Carl.

Only recently, Jimmy was dumped by his "humiliated" wife Nicola after he confessed to kissing Mandy Dingle following his tense trial week, where he was eventually found not guilty.

In upcoming scenes, Jimmy is back in from the cold when Nicola lets him move home for his son Carl’s sake.

However, it's not long until Juliette, who won’t be winning mother of the year any time soon, drops yet another bombshell on the family.

After the news, Jimmy and Nicola realise that they have to put Carl first rather than dwell on their marital problems.

It leaves Jimmy feeling hopeful, but is he expecting too much?

Elsewhere, Liv Flaherty, who doesn't want to admit that she is an alcoholic, assures Aaron Dingle that she can stop drinking whenever she wants to.

However, Aaron isn’t fooled and neither is Mandy Dingle, who warns her to stay away from Vinny because she’s a bad influence.

Mandy does her bit by getting hold of Vinny’s phone and lying to Liv, saying that Vinny has blocked her and is going on a date with Belle.

She responds by getting drunk and seducing Jacob Gallagher, which doesn’t go down well with Aaron. He chucks her out and wrestles with guilt when Ben worries about her being out overnight.

Over at Charity Dingle's, she suspects Mackenzie Boyd when a shipment of smart watches goes missing.

And later in the week, when Charity is distracted, Sarah Dingle tries to trace the family of her heart donor after learning that contact has been refused.

While April Windsor is viciously trolled again on social media after she was sent a sick meme of her late mother Donna and Cathy Hope, who fans have predicted could be the online bully, has an idea about what to do, but will it work?
