Emmerdale’s Moira devastated as she ‘works out’ who run her over after huge clue
Emmerdale 's Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln) knocked Cain Dingle's ex-wife down and left her for dead earlier this year as he sped along a country lane in pursuit of his wife Andrea.
But Moira (Natalie J Robb) – who still has no idea who was at the wheel on the fateful night – might now be about to find some answers.
Cain (Jeff Hordley) returns from his trip away but his mood darkens upon discovering Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) is dating Jamie.
He demands Belle explain why she’s back with a Tate and she struggles to hide her guilt and Jamie is left concerned to hear that Belle’s helping Moira out at Butlers farm.
Sensing an opportunity, Belle agrees to steer clear of Moira if Jamie will convince Kim (Claire King) to send a client’s business to Butlers.
Later, Moira receives a call from the police informing her they’ve found a new witness to her hit and run.
She is ashen-faced as the reality of the incident starts flooding back and she soon has a horrific flashback about the accident.
What has she remembered?
A furious Nate later smashes up Jamie's car wing mirror, enraged at Jame and Belle's relationship but Belle goes on to defend Jamie in front of Cain, deepening the sense that her ties to the Dingles have been broken.
Meanwhile, an increasingly volatile Jamie overhears Sam (James Hooton) bad-mouthing him and fires him from the farm.
A shocked Sam, who had turned to Belle for support after losing his job, is furious when she sides with Jamie.
A sheepish Belle eventually returns to the Dingles to collect her things having confessed to Zak that she is moving in with Jamie.
But will Jamie and Belle's love story end in tears?
Emmerdale continues on Wednesday at 7pm on ITV.
