Emotional Jake Quickenden reveals his son Leo has finally met his mum after being cruelly trolled for 'needing botox'
JAKE Quickenden’s mum has finally been able to meet his son Leo, a month after he was born.
The 32-year-old reality star shared a snap of his mum Lisa looking fondly at the baby as he cradled him.
Alongside the touching image, an emotional Jake wrote: “I could cry I’m so happy…. mums arrived @orchardlodge_home thanks to everyone who let me know I could have a bubble, I wasn’t even aware of it!!
“To see my mum meeting Leo has honestly made my weekend!! Have a lovely weekend everyone!! Let’s be Kind ❤️.”
Jake had previously revealed his upset that his family were yet to meet the little one, who he shares with Sophie Church, due to the pandemic.
In England, single adults living alone can form a support bubble with one other household.
The rules also state that families with children under 14 can form a childcare bubble with one other household to provide informal (unpaid and unregistered) childcare.
The much-needed visit comes after Jake hit back at a cruel troll who said his newborn son "is ugly as f*** and needs Botox".
The disgusting comments were left on a photo of the X Factor star's sweet son Leo.
The star's tot made his Instagram debut last month shortly after The Sun exclusively revealed he was born on February 26th.
But proud dad Jake, 32, has since spotted horrific comments online about their son and has urged trolls to stop.
The celeb shared a photo of adorable Leo and wrote in the caption: "REAL POST… So in the past week this little man has been told he needs Botox, that he’s ugly as f**k and that he’s weird looking, me myself have also been told stay off social media if you don’t want to be trolled, it’s so baffling to me that I should have to stay off social media if I don’t want my 4 week old trolled.
"I don’t mind people giving me s***, as sad as it is I’ve had to get used to being called “irrelevant" “ugly" “attention seeking" and the list goes on but to troll an innocent child is so wrong and the people doing it seriously need to seek help.
"Also why should I stay off social media if I don’t want him trolled the thought process of some people is shocking, maybe people just shouldn’t troll.
"I enjoy social media it’s full of lovely people who are supportive and I like sharing my ups and downs, I try and be real as possible, but unfortunately there is a dark side of social media and something needs doing about it.
"Anyway rant over!! The lion is 4 weeks today! Cute af ️Love you son @leooliverq"
Jake's fans agreed Leo is "absolutely gorgeous" and begged him to ignore twisted trolls.
Towie star Dan Osborne said: "Brother, lots of nasty c**ts in the world & they feel brave through a screen. We will never understand that type of species, they’re not human, just absolute scum.
"Keep your chin up mate, as you know, Leo is a cute, handsome chap, always will be I mean look at his dad & mum! The genes are insane 😄 Ignore the twats, also even if someone’s baby come out with 6 eyes people shouldn’t comment negatively on a child! Winds me right up. Love to you all bro ❤️"
Diversity dancer Jordan Banjo wrote: "My bro, that’s one thing none of us can understand, we can be as polite as we want but sometimes people get comfortable because there’s a screen there, one day they’ll do it to the wrong person, what goes around comes around🤷🏾♂️"
And Strictly star AJ Pritchard wrote: "🥰😍❤️.. sending nothing but LOVE"
As another pal said: "your boy is glorious my g!!! f*** anyone who says otherwise ❤️"
Jake's girlfriend Sophie gave birth at Colchester Hospital and the happy couple shared a gorgeous exclusive picture of their little boy with The Sun.
In a special nod to his late brother Ollie, who passed away in 2012, Jake has revealed his son’s middle name is Oliver.
Jake and Sophie, who has a son, Freddie, six, from a previous relationship are taking part in new MTV show, Celebrity Bumps: Famous And Pregnant.
