Game of Thrones: Jon Snow never forgave Sansa for spilling huge family secret

Game of Thrones saw a revelation that changed everything as the realisation that Jon Snow’s (played by Kit Harington) true parentage set a chain of events in motion. However, this would never have happened if Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) stayed to her word and kept his secret.

In the final season of the show, Jon spoke to his sister Sansa about who his real parent were – Rhaegar Targaryen (Wilf Scolding) and Lyanna Stark (Aisling Franciosi).

He made her vow to keep the news a secret, knowing chaos would ensue of Daenerys found out he was the true heir to the throne.

However, Sansa went against his wishes and told Varys (Conleth Hill).

Telling the secret of course sparked the chain of events that lead to Daenerys finding out the truth and accusing Varys of plotting against her.

She then killed him with fire in a fit of rage.

However, after the official scripts for the final season were leaked online, fans were shocked to find out Jon’s true thoughts.

The script revealed that Jon still hadn’t forgiven his sister.

This may come as a shock to fans who saw the Stark siblings share a tearful goodbye as they all cried and went their separate ways.

The note began: “Jon stands in front of Sansa.

“He hasn’t entirely forgiven her for betraying the oath he made her swear in the godswood.

“He knows she loves him. He knows she only wants what’s best for the North. But still…”

Despite no fans wanting to see bad blood between the siblings, the note may bring satisfaction to some viewers.

The finale received a great deal of backlash and one of the points of controversy was the fact the betrayal seemed to be overlooked in the series.

Meanwhile, one fan has spotted another issue with the plot, speculating Jon should have died with the Night King.

Fans will remember the season episode that saw Jon Snow resurrected after Alliser Thorne and several men of the Night’s Watch stabbed him, labelling him a traitor.

After Jon was resurrected by magic, many fans speculated this would link him to the White Walkers.

In their Reddit post, the viewer wrote: “What if at the end of 8.03… after the Night King and all his buddies have fallen, all the ‘fire wights’ would also cease to exist too?

“Beric and Jon were both resurrected by the magic of R’hllor, mostly with the purpose of fighting the Great Other.

“After that purpose has been fulfilled, it would make sense for them to ‘die’ as well.”

Could Jon have died with the Night King?
