Gordon Ramsay tells Tilly to work hard for ‘once in a lifetime’ Strictly gig

Gordon Ramsay has urged his Strictly star daughter Tilly Ramsay to make the most of her time on the show.

In an exclusive interview with Hello, Tilly, 19, revealed what advice her famous dad had for her in regards to her dancing show career.

She told the publication: “His advice to me when I started Strictly was to work hard, have fun and put my everything into it because it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity.”

Tilly is partnered with pro dancer Nikita Kuzmin, 23, and they fave become firm fan favourites already.

The children's presenter also added that she is super close with her family and that they’ve always been the best support system she could ask for.

She explained: "Strictly really reiterates that. My sisters help me pick out outfits for It Takes Two – they love that kind of thing.

"I’ve got my brother Jack keeping me grounded, telling me what he thought of my dancing, and I’ve got mum and dad to chat to and have their support."

Tilly's confession comes after chef Ramsay appeared on This Morning on Monday to help some viewers out with common culinary dilemmas.

The show was presented by hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield who invited the TV chef into the studio to help out the viewers at home.

But during the segment, Holly couldn't help but giggle as Gordon slipped up and told a viewer that phone into work on their "soft crack".

One caller was keen to get to pick Gordon's brains on how to make toffee apples as Halloween soon approaches.

Gordon said: "Great non-stick pan, low gas, should be about 170 or 175 and then take it off, and also it will continue cooking so be very smart with that?"

The caller then asked: "Do you use a sugar thermometer?"

Gordon replied: "That's right, I was gonna say a soft ball or a soft crack, about 170."

Keeping a straight face, he jokingly added: "It doesn't sound appropriate in the morning talking about a soft crack, but we're all talking about sugar."

Holly could be heard giggling in the background as Phillip joked: "Especially not with caramel!"
