Hollyoaks rapist Laurie attacks Diane in shocking showdown?

Diane Hutchinson (Alex Fletcher) is about to end up in a dangerous situation as she resolves to confront Hollyoaks rapist Laurie Shelby (Kyle Pryor) in a terrying showdown. With Sinead (Stephanie Davis) back in the village, she angrly tells her mum how she refuses to let her husband get away with his crimes.

Determined not to let Laurie harm another woman, they decide that drastic measures need to be taken as manipulative Laurie keeps evading justice and turning the tables to come out of the other side. Now that he is in charge of the school with Sally St Claire (Annie Wallace) suspended after her outburst at him, he feels he is more untouchable than ever.

But Diane sets out to prove him wrong and is willing to put herself in danger to get justice for Sinead, Sienna (Anna Passey) and any other women he has hurt in his life. As she confronts him and attempts to trap him into showing his true colours during the school prom, he is angry as she calls him a rapist in front of his colleagues and students.

He later corners her alone a room and warns her that he isn’t going to let her get away with that. Seeing the anger in his eyes, Diane tells Laurie to back off as he is clearly poised to viciously attack her. Meanwhile, a panicked Sinead is rushing to her aid, realising how much trouble she is in.

As a showdown explodes, events at the prom spiral dramatically out of control, with consequences that will leave Hollyoaks High shaken.

Will the truth about Laurie finally become clear? Or are Sinead and Diane set to take drastic action to protect themselves from his wrath, with results that could leave them in an even more troubling predicament than before?

Hollyoaks continues on Monday 24th June at 7pm on E4.
