House on sale for £425k has a very exposed en-suite bathroom with glass walls

Like to do your business with a view?

Or do you dream of being able to smile at your partner while they’re on the loo and you’re still in bed?

If so, we might have the perfect place for you.

A three-bedroom home on Bishop Bridge Road in Norwich, East Anglia, comes with a rather interesting en-suite in the master bedroom.

That bathroom has entirely glass walls, so anyone coming up the stairs or hanging out in the bedroom will have a full view of whoever’s showering or on the toilet.

Why, you may ask?

Well, while the house seems to be ideally suited to exhibitionists, the description suggests that glass en-suite is ‘designed to immerse you in the fantastic views’.

To be fair, the home does overlook the River Wensum, but surely those views could be maximised with just a few big windows, rather than allowing your other half to see you pee?

Apparently this unique design choice hasn’t put off potential buyers.

A spokesperson for Sefftons, who are marketing the property, said: ‘With so much attention and more than ten viewings booked within hours of launching to market, it seems everybody wants a loo with a view.

‘Yes, you could frost the glass or screen the room, but where’s the fun in that.

‘Designed for a fun loving couple who enjoy all the city has to offer, combined with “an exceptional view, in more ways than one”.’

The property description says the house, on sale for £425,000, offers ‘wow after wow’, but honestly, no ‘wow’ quite compares to the surprise of that bathroom.

The rest of the home is still lovely, however, if not so attention-grabbing.

Spanning 1,200 sq ft over three floors, it’d make a rather dreamy family home in the city centre of historic Norwich.

On the ground floor is a large living room, a dining space, a kitchen, and a conservatory, which again offers great views of the river and the nearby cathedral.

Up a level are two bedrooms and a bathroom (with non-transparent walls and a door), then the entire top floor is dedicated to the main bedroom, where, along with the glass en-suite there’s a sofa, a massive TV looming over the staircase, and a wall sticker that reads: ‘love the life you have!’. Nice.
