How many episodes are in Bulletproof: South Africa?

Bulletproof is finally returning to screens for the first time since 2019 with a new special set in South Africa.

However, the latest outing will be a bit different from previous seasons as it features fewer episodes.

In total, there will only be three outings for fans to enjoy of Bulletproof: South Africa.

This is in comparison to seasons one and two, which featured six and eight, respectively.

The show begins on Sky One on Wednesday, January 20 at 9pm.

Each new episode will then debut weekly on the channel on Wednesdays at 9pm.

After they’re released they will be available to watch on NOW TV.

Currently, there’s no news yet about if more episodes are also on their way but fans are hopeful.

What will happen in Bulletproof season 3?

The synopsis for the new season reads: “The boys take a much-needed vacation from their London day-job and head to Cape Town, South Africa.

“Unfortunately for our two holidaymakers, things don’t quite go to plan.

“While trying to relax after a tough year, Bishop, Pike and his family soon find themselves caught up in the frightening kidnap of a young girl.

“Having befriended the young girl’s parents earlier that day, Bishop and Pike decide it’s their duty to use their expertise to help the couple win their daughter back.

“The kidnappers demand an unreasonable reward for the safe return of the girl, but have no idea who they’re now up against.”

At a recent Q&A Walters also explained to and other media where they pick up in the new season of the popular show.

He said: “It’s been a bit of time since the season before and we’re in a position where we just really need a break.

“If you’ve been watching us from the beginning you’ll have seen what we’ve gone through together.

“We decide to go on holiday and we choose South Africa – and obviously Bishop comes along with us as he hasn’t got his own family.

“It goes downhill from there as anywhere Bishop is, you know there’s going to be trouble.”

However, despite the change of scenery, Clarke was clear the show will still have a lot of the same elements fans know and love.

He added: “What the show has for me is a lot of heart. I think that’s what makes it stand out more than anything.

“The audience can expect a lot more of that heartfelt character stuff between Bishop and Pike, and of course, Tanner (Lindsey Coulson).

“I can’t spoil it for you but it’s the heartfelt stuff that they have for each other that means those three characters, in particular, are connected.

“So you get a lot of that but of course you get all the action that you’ve seen in the previous two seasons, but this time in the sun.”
