I’m A Celeb’s Snoochie Shy screams as she’s covered in rats in scary trial

I'm A Celeb star Snoochie Shy is left screaming after being covered in rats in the latest camp trial.

The radio host was voted to take on the Treacherous Traps challenge tonight (November 23) after she went head to head with Danny Miller and lost in a grim eating challenge that saw her munching on grotesque items such as vomit fruit, fish eye, and a cow's nose.

Snoochie, 29, was picked by members of the public voting for her to take part in the claustrophobic game in a bid to win even more stars to grab dinner for her fellow campmate in tonight's episode as I'm A Celeb 2021 starts to fully get underway.

But it looks like the challenge – which sees her placed in a fully enclosed underground box – may be too much for Snoochie as she's seen screaming in a teaser clip.

Snoochie is seen being closed into the traps as she attempts to unscrew stars while various creepy crawlies are dropped on her including cockroaches.

But it's a large brown rat who really takes its toll on her nerves as she beings to scream and shout "he's licking me."

I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are then seen fighting back laughter as Snoochie continues to frantically scream "where's the star, where's the star" over and over while the rat crawls up her legs.

On Monday night Snoochie was seen being comforted by former BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin as she broke down in tears after becoming overwhelmed at not bringing any meals back to camp despite her efforts in the eating challenge.

The presenter opened up about her fear of confined spaces prior to entering the castle.

She said: "Lying in a coffin with creepy crawlies is my big fear. I’ve seen bugs go up people’s noses before and I am scared bugs are going to go up my private parts.

“But I am excited about taking part and as soon as they asked me to come on the show, I said yes.”

I'm A Celeb has returned to Gwrych Castle in Wales for a second year running after covid-19 travel restrictions ruled out a return to Australia.

The highly anticipated show kicked off on Sunday night and has already seen its fair share of stomach-churning moments – mainly from Emmerdale star Danny Miller who has been seen vomiting on several occasions.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! continues tonight Tuesday 23 November at 9.15pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
