Lorraine Kelly calls Piers Morgan a ‘clown’ in savage dig at Covid rule break

Lorraine Kelly branded Piers Morgan a "clown" in a cheeky dig during an appearance on Monday's Good Morning Britain.

Making headlines over the weekend, the GMB presenter was photographed sitting in a cab on Saturday night, having forgotten to put on his mask.

Piers later issued an apology over the coronavirus rule break, holding his hands up and calling himself a "Covidiot".

Ahead of Monday's episode of Lorraine, the Scottish presenter appeared on GMB to plug the ITV show ahead.

During her appearance, Piers and Susanna Reid brought up Lorraine's presenting stint on The Last Leg, which aired on Friday evening.

On the Channel 4 comedy show, Lorraine turned the air blue with her foul language, insisting celebs who broke the coronavirus rules could "f*** off" in a hilarious monologue.

Piers, who had tuned in to watch Lorraine's debut on The Last Leg, joked: "I laughed at that and then got caught the next night."

Refusing to hold back, Lorraine looked at Piers, and exclaimed: "You clown!"

Thankfully, Piers took the swipe on the chin, accepting he was in the wrong after ignoring the government guidelines.
