Love Island’s brutal double dumping sees bombshells Danny and AJ axed from villa

Danny Bibby and AJ Bunker have been dumped from Love Island after viewers voted for their favourite islanders, ultimately putting girls Lucinda Strafford, Chloe Burrows and AJ Bunker at risk.

For the boys, Toby Aromolaran, Teddy Soares and Danny Bibby were voted as the bottom three, with the girls deciding which of the lads would go, and the boys deciding which of the girls would go.

After much deliberation, the girls decided that Danny should go, while the lads chose to send AJ home.

It was clear that they were all torn, with the girls saying that they were unsure whether to dump someone that they haven't quite got the chance to know.

Ultimately, they chose that the right decision for them was to dump Danny, while the lads dumped AJ, but both Danny and AJ were getting cosy before their exit.

It comes after Danny's romance with Lucinda fizzled out as she continued to get to know Aaron, while AJ and Hugo didn't appear to click.

The pair said their goodbyes before leaving the villa as their fellow islanders were filled with apologies as they had to leave.

With two empty spaces now in the villa, producers couldn't keep fans waiting for more drama for long, and three more bombshells will be arriving.

Hugo receives a text which reads: "Islanders. The night isn’t over yet. Get ready to welcome Georgia, Tyler and Abigail. #triplethreat".

As three islanders prepare to enter the villa, they have their sights firmly set, with newbie Georgia Townend eyeing up Hugo, while Tyler Cruickshank has been eyeing up Kaz.

Abigail is looking to cause a bit of trouble though, with her eyes on Toby first and foremost, followed by Teddy and Aaron – and all three men appear to be fairly happy in their current couples.

Speaking on her entrance, Abigail said: "Even if I didn't go in there with the intention of stirring things up, it'll happen regardless."

Could Abigail's arrival be the drama viewers have been waiting for? And will Hugo and Kaz finally get out of their respective friendship couples?

Love Island continues tomorrow on ITV2 at 9pm.
