Love Island’s Laura Anderson suggests Lucie should leave after Joe axe
In last night’s Love Island, Joe Garratt was dumped from the villa alongside Elma Pazar following a fan vote.
He had courted controversy during his fortnight on the show, with fans accusing him of controlling behaviour over Lucie Donlan.
Last night though, he spoke to Lucie and admitted he shouldn’t have told her not to spend time with Tommy Fury and socialise with the girls more.
Speaking exclusively with Daily Star Online, Laura said: “Obviously on the outside, we know he was getting a lot of stick for that.
“I think it was right that he apologised, and they seemed to be hitting off because I think he said he was falling for her, so that’s really sweet.”
Later in the episode though, Joe was sent packing from the villa, leaving Lucie in tears.
Laura told us: “I actually couldn’t believe it, the fact they were doing the whole splitting up the couples thing.
“Obviously Joe was gonna leave because I knew Lucie was gonna stay. I really wanted to keep Anton so unfortunately we did have to lose Elma.
“I think if it was the other way around, Joe would’ve left for her”
“But what the heck’s Lucie gonna do now? Because all she’s really got is Tommy and Maura, I guess, she’s quite friendly with her now.”
However Laura noted: “I think if it was the other way around, Joe would’ve left for her, so we’ll see what happens tomorrow.”
There had been rumours that Lucie had quit the show yesterday, however, for the time being, they’ve not been confirmed to be true.
Meanwhile, Joe was spotted for the first time since leaving the villa, smiling with fans in an airport.
And the preview for tonight’s episode showed Lucie struggling with whether or not to stay in the villa.
They’re dropping like flies…
